The musical of The Color Purple opened at the Arsht Center on Tuesday - we haven't seen reviews yet, but a lot of promotional stories are out.We included this Miami Herald story in Mondays are Dark. It tells the story of how the book that became a huge success as a movie made the transition to stage musical. It also features video and audio clips.

The Color Purple runs this week only at the Arsht Center, closing November 1st.
