The Scene for October 7, 2011

Yes, it's South Florida Theatre Festival time.  The 24 Hour Theatre Project was its usually success, lucky patrons are enjoying their free nights of theatre (sorry, those tickets are long gone!), and the next official event is 360 Storytelling on Monday, October 17.  But Zoetic has a playreading this Monday, October 10.

So here's what's happening on The Scene this weekend;

you still haven't missed...

Karen Stephens reprises her tour-de-force performance of Bridge & Tunnel, this time at Bob Carter's Actors' Workshop and Repertory Company. But there's a little more time to see it this go-round; it's playing through October 22.

TEMfest 2011, Miami's spanish-language theatre festival, runs through October 23 at various venues around Miami.

Zoetic Stage will be presenting a reading of  Mack Edward's Mirror at the Top of the Stairs at the Caldwell Theatre on October 10.

It played on Broadway, but it's not really a Broadway show; Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles plays at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts through October 16.  A must-see for Beatles fans.

The Miskreant Puppets present Stuffed and Unstrung at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, this Sunday, October 9.
