Hard to believe that it's almost Thanksgiving; wasn't it just Labor Day?Well, the 24 Hour Theater Project has come and gone; you can read about it on Florida Theater On Stage or The Drama Queen. It's back to an old formula since the Caldwell Theatre closed; the Amadeos producing, and Joe Adler once again making his stage available for the benefit of others. He's a real mensch, that Joe. Kudos.
A lot of shows closing this week; if you haven't decided, let's make Saturday "South Florida Theatre Scene" night at the Plaza Theatre for Driving Miss Daisy; you don't want to miss this dream cast performing a great play on such an intimate stage. We'd watch any of those three actors read a phone book.
